·         Past medical history: Allergies, medicaments, pregnancy, delivery illness, accidents, difficulties.

·         Past operations with general anesthesia, complications or allergies.

·         Clinical examinations: Pulse, blood pressure, ECG, Chest X-Ray, head, neck, thorax, abdomen, heart, CNS/fits-epileptic/, psychiatric difficulties.

·         Laboratory tests: Full blood count-red cell count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, leucocyte count, platelet count. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate/ESR/. Coagulation tests-partial thromboplastin time, International normalized ratio/INR/. APTT, PTT, Quick-test. Sodium, potassium, chloride, urea, calcium, glucose /glykemie/. Liver function tests, triglycerides, cholesterol, amylase,

Individual habits

  ·         Medicines, nicotine and alcohol, narcotics

The consumption of nicotine and alcohol should be stopped 30 days before the operation in order to guarantee a problem-free wound healing process. For at least 14 days before the surgical procedure should be avoided the consumption of coagulative (blood clotting-restraining) pain and sleeping drugs. Do not eat and drink during the 6 hours before the surgery. Inform us and our doctors about your eventually consumption of medicines.

Postoperative: Alcohol, smoke, pain drugs or sleeping drugs should be avoided also during the fist 30 days after the treatment.
