safety in plastic surgery

For your surgical procedure with team Aesthetia you will be provided with professional postoperative care

Recovery: On average the recovery time after plastic surgery amounts to 6-14 days, hospital stay included. Our physicians recommend a stay in Prague near our clinic for the duration of the recovery. This represents the ideal situation for both the team of physician and the patient.

Under our specialized doctors own supervision: The first 5-7 days after the release from our clinic department are the most important ones.

With a stay near the clinic, the patient remains under supervision of our physicians with visits for control, changing bandages, wound-care, medicine, daily check-ups, 24/7 on call availability, and for the final inpatient control with the eventually removal of stitches before returning home. For our out of town patients, our physicians suggest travelling with a companion, if possible. To the patients who travel alone, our medical manager and specialized doctor Dr.Alawa will pay even more attention with additional visits for control especially during the first week after the release from the surgery department, during the stay in the near private accommodation.

The premium solution: Our team doctors always prefer to keep the patient as long as possible under their own supervision making sure that everything is fine before he leaves for home. Moreover any stress or travel shall be avoided during the recovery period. The by our doctors recommended premium solution always represents the full recovery stay in the near accommodation until to the final control with the removal of the stitches. Often the stitches are taken out step by step. These services are the perfect post-op requirements for each plastic surgery patient from the medical viewpoint.

Partial home recovery: From the view of the patient, recovery is often more pleasant within the familiar environment of home under the supervision of family. Medically an extended stay is not essential after each operation. Therefore, the recommendation of our physicians depends on the individual conditions and type of operation. Patients who have a less invasive operation may eventually return home before the stitches can be taken out. They may complete their check-ups and have their stitches removed by the family doctor. By individual request and with the agreement of the specialist, dissolvable intradermal stitches may be used.
