THE CLASSIC METHOD OF HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

 Skin strip   To begin, a thin skin strip is taken from the back of the head. The hair of this area is of particularly good quality and resistance. The resulting incision is sutured with modern special multi-layer sutures and is not visible after the procedure.

 Grafts  Grafts (follicles) are taken from the harvested skin strip, which can be transplanted. The transplanted follicles consist of micro-grafts containing 3-5 hairs.

 Implantation   With the help of Micro Tweezers the Grafts are inserted into the appropriate incisions at the bald area. The incisions should have as exactly as possible the same sizes as the transplanted micro grafts. Already after approximately 5-6 months the so transplanted hair attains again its original strength and growth ability. Then you may treat, cut or color the transplanted hair exactly like every other hair, too.

 Imperfections-Disadvantages  No one of the manual methods -independently of whether the grafts / follicles are positioned into punches or into micro cuts- can achieve even approximately the precision and regularity of the ULTRACUT System which makes possible the transplantation of smaller follicles (1-3 hairs only), higher density and implantation of the transplanted hairs in the natural hair inclination. With the Ultracut System the size of the incisions fits exactly to the transplanted follicles. There is no pressure from the surrounding tissue on the so transplanted follicles, that makes possible the so vital optimal blood supply of the freshly transplanted hairs.
